FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
Where are you based?
I live in the Sutherland Shire, NSW. I find this as a great middle ground as most of my weddings are in Southern Highlands, South Coast, Hunter Valley or Sydney.
How far will you travel for a wedding?
As far as your willing to send me, my bag is packed and my passport is ready! Any opportunity to combine two things I love, travel and photography. Count me in!
Where can we get a complete price list?
Make an enquiry via my contact form and I will shoot through a comprehensive price list including everything I offer.
Should we meet before booking you?
I normally suggest we try catch up, mainly because I love coffee and meeting new people. Oh and I will be spending the best part of your wedding day with you so I feel it’s pretty crucial we are on the same page! I generally try to meet at a coffee shop however, this is not always possible due to people living in different states or countries. In this case we can organise a Skype date if that suits you.
Is there a travel fee?
I charge a modest fee of $250 for any weddings more then 1 hours drive from Sutherland. This simply covers the cost of a hotel room, petrol and tolls when it becomes a little dangerous driving long distances after shooting all day. I will discuss this with you if I feel it is appropriate.
We are super awkward and my fiancé hates photos, we don’t want a engagement session.
I hear this from most of my couples, really don’t stress! All of my packages include and engagement shoot for this reason. This give us an opportunity to work together before your wedding day. Sure it will be awkward at the beginning but as you get used to my relaxed unobtrusive style you will start to have fun and lots of it. Do you have insurance?
Sure do! $20 Million public liability and all my equipment is also insured. If your venue requires a copy of this just let me know.
Do you back up our photos?
I most certainly do, this is a crucial part of my job as a photographer. My cameras use dual card slots and when I get home on the night of your wedding 3 more copies of your images are made. Once they are edited and delivered to your on line gallery you have the piece of mind knowing they are backed up in the cloud for 10 years.
How many photos should we expect?
Every wedding is different, but generally I deliver around 700 images for a 9 hour wedding.
Do you require a meal on the day?
I sure do, shooting all day with minimal breaks in-between normally means by 6pm I am ready to chew my arm off. I don’t have any dietary requirements.
Do you do videography?
Unfortunately I do not, however if you are after a videographer let me know. I have a few very talented people I can point you towards.
So where do we sign up?
Booking is simple. Check my availability and once you have given me the thumbs up I will put you into my booking system and you will receive a contract and invoice. A non-refundable deposit of $500 is due at the time off booking to secure your date.
