Where do I even start with Adam and Anita’s Santorini Destination Wedding.
As I was boarding my flight to Greece, I had so many things running through my head. After all this was my very first Destination Wedding and my first trip to Greece. I had no idea what to expect.
As I arrived at the port of Santorini I was instantly captivated by the surroundings. It was like nowhere I had ever seen before. Outside the hotel in Firostefani we where greeted by an elderly greek man and to my disbelief he threw all of our bags over his shoulder and begun the hike down what looked like a never ending set of stairs.
After I met with Adam and Anita I became a little anxious… Is this real? is this really happening. That night I experienced my first Santorini Sunset, something that simply has to be experienced in person. The day of the wedding finally arrived, it was hot. The kind of heat that makes you want to sit in a pool of water up to your neck. As the ceremony concluded we quickly raced to Oia for the wedding portraits. A town up the the road which has some amazing views looking back on Firostafani.
As the sun began to fall the most beautiful sea breeze came through cooling us all off at one seriously fun reception.
I can not wait until the day when I come back to this magical place so if you’re planning an Santorini Destination wedding, or a wedding anywhere in Greece please contact me.
